Kyra Shahid, PhD. is a purpose doula, educator, and leadership developer. She helps to cultivate, preserve, recover, and birth the dreams of students and professionals whose dreams are at risk of spirit murder brought on by the presence of anti-blackness and other systemic inequities.
Dr. Shahid provides signature workshops and innovative experiences that empower and transforms participants. Her trainings are centered on racial healing, culturally restorative education, equity, racial healing, and restorative justice.
Dr. Shahid is available to advise and co-create curriculum for K-12 and college classrooms, workplace resource groups, and community-based projects such as freedom schools, summer institutes, bridge programs, religious camps, and more.
